At William Ransom Primary this Christmas, we are celebrating in many different ways. Currently all of the school, apart from Reception, are working on a Christmas Concert. Each year we have a different theme, and this year’s theme is Christmas Around the World. Half of the KS2 members are also in a Christmas Choir, who become the World Travellers. Reception is working on their own mini Christmas Concert too, based on Traditional Celebrations at Christmas.
As well, next week we are going to have a Christmas lunch and we all have to bring hats to do with Christmas! Our Christmas lunch is inspired by the traditional Christmas lunch, served with Turkey and lots of fresh vegetables. Our dining room is also decorated with lots of display boards. This Year every class was asked to produce a Christmas display to decorate the walls. This included famous carols such as ‘O Little Town of Bethelem’ and ‘When Santa got stuck up The Chimney.’
This year Chloe is going to celebrate Christmas with family and friends. This probably will include playing in the snow with her best friend Madeleine. Chloe also hopes Santa will bring her lots of Christmas joy, and of course, presents!
Madeleine is going to spend her Christmas in Sheffield with her family. This includes going to the Pantomime to see ‘Cinderella.’ She’s sure she will play in the snow and she hopes Santa will eat all the mince pies they give him! Madeleine also hopes for presents and can’t wait until Christmas!
Madeleine and Chloe wish you all a very happy Christmas, and hopes everyone will get lots of presents!
